NOW – Checking Account

Put your money to work with this popular interest-bearing account. Our NOW Checking Accounts give you unlimited check writing privileges and a monthly statement. An average daily balance of $200.00 is required to receive interest. A $4.00 service charge will be assessed on accounts that fall below the minimum average daily balance. With our NOW account, you are able to utilize the VISA Check Card for not only ATM use, but also for purchases from merchants wherever the VISA symbol is displayed. Your interest rate and annual yield may change weekly at our discretion.

Rainbow 55 Checking

The Rainbow 55 Checking Accounts are for individual accounts or joint accounts in which at least one owner is 55 or over in age. This is an interest bearing account that gives you unlimited check writing privileges and a monthly statement. There is no minimum balance and you will receive free standard basic checks. As with the standard NOW checking, you are eligible for the VISA Check Card. Your interest rate and annual yield may change weekly at our discretion.

Business Checking

At Milton Savings Bank we understand the needs of our local small businesses. Our Business Checking accounts require no minimum balance be maintained in the account. As per Federal Law the account does not receive interest. There are no monthly fees charged on your Business Checking Account, and you will receive a monthly statement. With the Business Checking you have the ability to order a variety of checks to suit your needs. Some requirements may need to be fulfilled upon opening the account, such as a letter of organization, or articles of incorporation.

VISA Check Card

A Milton Savings Bank Visa Check card is like an ATM card and check rolled into one. The Visa Check Card will make your banking and shopping more convenient. Now you can pay for your purchases without cash, without checks, and without credit cards. The amount simply is deducted from your checking account, and each transaction will appear on your monthly statement. At the same time, you will have quick and easy access to cash and your checking account 24 hours a day. You can pay for purchases anywhere you see the VISA symbol. The VISA Check Card is safer than carrying cash and easier than writing checks. You can withdraw funds from our ATM for no charge, or at any ATM displaying the VISA or PLUS logo. Fees may apply when using other ATM’s.
