“55” Checking
The “55” Checking Accounts are for individual accounts or joint accounts in which at least one owner is 55 or over in age. This is an interest-bearing account that gives you unlimited check writing privileges and a monthly statement. There is no minimum balance, and you will receive free standard basic checks. As with the standard NOW checking, you are eligible for the Visa® Debit Card. Your interest rate and annual yield may change at our discretion.

Visa® Debit Card
A Milton Savings Bank Visa® Debit card is like an ATM card and check rolled into one. The Visa® Debit Card will make your banking and shopping more convenient. Now you can pay for your purchases without cash, without checks, and without credit cards. The amount is simply deducted from your checking account, and each transaction will appear on your monthly statement. At the same time, you will have quick and easy access to cash and your checking account 24 hours a day. You can pay for purchases anywhere you see the Visa® logo. The Visa® Debit Card is safer than carrying cash and easier than writing checks. You can withdraw funds from our ATM at no charge, or at any ATM displaying the Visa® or PLUS logo, subject to that ATM’s fees.
